Today, we held the session of “The Monday Spark! – Your Stage, Your Story,” an in-person weekly talk series held every Monday at the L Room, Cabinet Secretariat. We were honored to have Mr. Sonam Tobgay, Director at the Office of the Prime Minister, as our speaker. He delivered an inspiring talk on the establishment of Drukair – Royal Bhutan Airlines, sharing how its inception in the early 1980s symbolized a bold and visionary step toward national modernization.

He reflected on how our visionary kings recognized the critical importance of connecting Bhutan to the world, despite many daunting challenges at that time. More than a story of aviation, the talk served as a powerful reminder of the extraordinary sacrifices and wise leadership of our beloved Kings, whose unwavering vision has guided Bhutan’s transformation from a fragile and underdeveloped nation to the peaceful and progressive country we are proud of today. This weekly session is designed to foster a culture of knowledge sharing and create a platform for learning, dialogue, and collaboration across the organization. Each session features a speaker within the Cabinet Secretariat who shares insights or experiences for around 30 minutes, followed by a 30-minute Q&A. We extend our sincere thanks to Mr.
