The Prime Minister met with Ms. Aya Miyaguchi, President of the Ethereum Foundation. They discussed the ongoing International Hackathon 2025, themed “Developing Decentralized Applications Powered by Bhutan’s National Digital Identity (NDI)”, being held from 25th to 27th June 2025 at Pangbisa, Paro. The Prime Minister highlighted the broader potential of blockchain platforms like Ethereum in advancing transparent governance, digital public services, and innovation-led development in Bhutan.
