“The Monday Spark! – Your Stage, Your Story” – Session Highlights
As usual, 17 participants attended today’s Monday Spark! in-person talk at the L Room. This week’s session featured Chief Chencho Tshering, Chief Program Officer, who spoke on the importance of reading. He emphasized that reading helps us to develop ourselves, stay informed, and remain up to date in an ever-evolving world. During the discussion, one participant asked: “I know reading is important, but how can I make myself a consistent reader?” In response, Dasho Secretary advised that one should choose books based on personal needs and interests to spark and maintain a reading habit.

Dasho also reflected on personal growth, stating:“We should never be slaves to others.”
She explained that if we feel discomfort because of others, we should not react with blame. Instead, we should reflect, adapt, and make the surrounding environment more positive for ourselves. This mindset, she noted, leads to self-growth, happiness, and resilience. The session was interactive and offered insightful learning for all attendees. The Monday Spark!

talks continue every Monday from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the L Room. If you're interested in engaging with enthusiastic people, you're welcome to volunteer as a speaker or listener for future sessions.
